How do I Turn off Echo Cancellation in Avaya Phones?

If you're experiencing echo in your headset, you should first check the compatibility switch on the headset base (For Leitner you should be set to 1 and for Sennheiser it should be A). If you're already on the right setting, then it's time to check the echo cancellation in your Avaya phone. Let's dive in!

How to Turn Off Echo Cancellation

  1. Go to Options on the phone
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Advanced
  4. Go to Auto Gain
  5. Go to Headset
  6. Select Off
