We all know Leitner Wireless Headsets have a switch on the bottom of the base that says RHL/DHSG... but what does it mean?
DHSG is a German acronym (Drahtlose Hör-Sprechgarnitur). All it means is "Wireless headset." In practice, it generally refers to electronic hookswitch (EHS) cables, which can give you the ability to answer calls while away from the desk with specific phones. We only have 5 EHS cables that require the Leitner base to be in DHSG. Unless you have one these cords, stick with the RHL setting.
Leitner EHS for Grandstream and Ooma phones
Leitner EHS for Snom and Nextiva Phones
