Leitner Wireless Giving Echo

Updated by Kamika Royal on Mar 1, 2024

If you're hearing your own voice back

  1. Try turning down the mic volume using the arrow buttons on the bottom of the headset charging base.
  2. Adjust the listening volumes. If the volume is all the way up on the phone, try turning it down on the headset (try it the other way too)

If the person on the other end is hearing the echo

  1. Check compat located underneath the headset charging base. The most common setting is #1
  2. Try turning down your listening volume using the buttons on the headsets. With the LH270 and LH275 especially, the microphone can pick up telephone conversation from the ear speakers if the volume is too high!

Depending if it’s the audio from the WAV file that’s echoing, or is it the Customer’s voice, we have a couple different things we can try. Call 1-800-HEADSETS and a Headset Advisor will be able to get you up and running quickly.
