Both Leitner Premium Lite batteries and Leitner Premium Plus/Dongle headset batteries have 5-8 hours of talk time per charge. As for the life of the battery, you can expect 2-3 years of service before it needs to be replaced.

Do the battery lights on the base go out if a new battery is fully charged ?

If you are using an LH200 or 300 series headset, the battery lights on the left should stay lit once fully charged. There is also a set of lights on the right side of the base. If you put the headset on the charger, you will see the 1st and 4th light. But once the headset is fully charged, that 4th light will go out.
If your battery lights are disappearing, let us know here or give us a call at 800-432-3738 to get that fixed up for you!

I’ve noticed my LH470 headset battery drains after a couple of days even if the headset is turned off after use. Does the usb dongle need to be unplugged to prevent this? Or should the headset always be plugged into the charger when not in use?

We recommend that your Leitner LH470 stay plugged in when not in use, just to make sure the battery stays charged. If you can’t leave it plugged in, please unplug the USB dongle so that the headset isn’t sending information back and forth. This could cause the battery to drain over a few days.
