The Jabra Engage 75 has lights and indicators to show you what is going on with your headset. Here is what they all mean:

Jabra Engage 75 wireless headset dashboard and lights

Lights on the Base:

  • Green Handset: Turns the headset on while in phone mode (does the same thing as the on/off button on the headset itself)
  • Red Handset: Turns the headset off in phone mode (again, the on/off button on the headset does the same thing)
  • Connection Indicators: (In Picture 1 above, to the left under the green handset light) They indicate what devices you currently have connected. In the picture, a connection to a desk phone and a cell phone is shown
  • Battery indicator: In Picture 1, this is located to the right of the time. The battery bars will turn off as your battery life dies down, just like a cell phone battery indicator
  • Menu button: Located directly under the time. Press once to open the menu. Once in the menu, press it again to navigate down; hold the menu button to navigate up
  • + and - buttons: (Shown in Picture 2) Once in the menu, use these buttons to navigate from side to side within the menu. When in a volume setting, use these to move volume up and down
  • Check button: Press to confirm a selection
  • Back button: Located to the right of the menu button in Photo 2, use this to go back a step in the settings

Lights on the Headset:

  • Orange Pulsing: Headset on the charger and charging
  • Solid Green: Headset is on charger and fully charged
  • Solid Red: Headset turned on in phone mode, also will light up microphone tip. Doubles as a busy light!
  • Flashing Blue: Headset is in pairing mode
