How to Set Up the Yealink EHS 40

Please note: Leitner wireless headsets do not work properly with the Yealink EHS40 cable. It is recommended instead to get the Leitner Electronic Hookswitch for Yealink Phones. This will work much better for you!

Compatible Yealink Models: SIP VP59, T58A, T57W, T53W, T54W, T53, T48S, T46S, T42S, T41S

Expansion Modules: If an expansion module has been connected to the SIP- T58A, T57W, T54W, T53W, or T43 IP phone, you can connect the EHS40 to it.

What's in the box: Yealink adapter box that has a USB cord coming out of it, 1 Sennheiser Y-cord, 1 Plantronics Y-cord, and 1 Jabra Y-cord.

Setup Instructions Sennheiser

1. Grab the adapter box and the Sennheiser Y-cord
2. Connect the single end of the y-cord into the green PHONE port in the back of the cube
3. Connect the RJ45 and RJ9 ends of the y-cord into the 2 available ports in the Yealink adapter box
4. Plug the USB cord coming out of the adapter box into the USB port in the phone
5. On the back of the Sennheiser base, move dipswitch #1 down and the ABC switch on A

   

Setup Instructions Plantronics

1. Grab the adapter box and the Plantronics Y-cord
2. Connect the single end of the y-cord into the back of the CS500 headset base
3. Connect RJ45 and RJ9 ends of the y-cord into the 2 available ports in the Yealink adapter box
4. Plug the USB cord coming out of the adapter box into the USB port in the phone
5. On the back of the Plantronics base, set the compat on A
   Please note: Older Plantronics CS50 and CS55 headsets do not work with this cable

Setup Instructions Jabra

1. Grab the adapter box and the Jabra connector cord
2. Connect one side of the Jabra connector cord into the AUX port (RJ45 connection) and the PHONE port (RJ9) connection into the back of the headset base
3. Connect the other side of the Jabra connector cord into the 2 available ports in the Yealink adapter box
4. Plug the USB cord coming out of the adapter box into the USB port in the phone
5. We're not sure what the correct compat setting is on Jabra headsets. Sorry! Try each one until we find the one that works.
