How do I Reset the Jawbone?

Updated by Hayden Everly on Feb 14, 2023

Jawbone Reset

  • Press and hold down the Talk Button on the New Jawbone. (It does not matter whether the Jawbone is on or off.)
  • Connect the New Jawbone to the USB charger cable. (The cable needs to be plugged into an active USB port or to an electrical outlet via the Wall Charger unit)
  • Release the Talk Button. (If the reset is successful, the LED Indicator Light should glow red)
  • Disconnect the New Jawbone from the USB charger cable

Note: The Jawbone may need to be re-paired to your phone after performing the reset.

To place the headset into pairing mode after the first time it's powered on, turn off the headset by holding the “Talk” button for 3 seconds. Then, hold the “Talk” and “Noise Assassin” buttons together until the light starts alternating red then white.

For best results, keep your phone and Jawbone within 3 feet of each other.

Now you can search for it from your phone. When asked for the passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros).
