Thank you for your post! I took apart a discarded yet fully functional MB Pro1 last night and was wondering if it could be charged via this hidden port.
By the way, on this model the battery is located at the other end of the headband, in the little rubber “pad” / battery compartment. Remove its plastic cover bearing the Sennheiser logo and here it is. It is easy to replace too as it uses a small yet standard connector. The battery on mine is a tiny Li-po AHB401835TPS, 3.7 V 205 mAh.
