Aastra and Zultys EHS Setup

Aastra and Zultys EHS Set up

Sennheiser set up:

1) Plug the connector cord with green sticker into the headset base. Plug the other end into the couple box. (PLEASE NOTE: this is not the regular connector cord that comes with the cube. It has a round shape and the cord is longer)

2) Grab the Y-cord and plug the single end with a blue sticker into the coupler box

3) Plug 1 end of the top of the y-cord into the HEADSET jack of the phone

4) Plug the other end of the top of the y-cord into the EHS or EXT port in the back of the phone

5) Move Dipswitch #1 Down and set to A for Sennheiser

Plantronics CS500/Savi set up:

- You will be using the Plantronics EHS for Aastra and Zultys phones

1) Plug one ehd of the EHS into the back of the headset base

2) Other end will go into the HEADSET jack of the phone (or EXT port)

3) Set compat to A

Checking phone settings

1) Go to Menu or Options Button (may have small picture of a wrench/ tool), an admin password may be needed. Try 22222 if they have never set one. If this doesn’t work, call the phone service provider

2) Once in the Options section, go to Preferences

• Then, Set Audio
• Then scroll down to DHSG and set to ON or ENABLE.
• Also, inside the Set Audio we want > check “audio mode” > set to “headset/speaker” or “headset”.
• Click DONE
