Desk Phone Ports

  • RJ9: Handset jacks, some headset jacks, busy buddy
  • RJ11: Wall jacks on all home phones, the CT10, the SPO2-H the Chattaway and all Polycom phones
  • RJ45: the big connector that most digital phones and all computer networking cables and devices use.The size of the TEL ports in the back of Sennheiser and Plantronics wireless.
  • 2.5mm: Some corded desk phones have a 2.5mm headset jack

Cordless Phone Port

  • RJ11 that connect the base of the phone to the wall
  • 2.5mm is the size of the headset port on the cordless phone handset

Cell phones:

  • 3.5mm: Most touch screen phones have
  • 2.5mm: Older phones with button you push
  • Lightning port: The jack for iPhone 7 and higher
