Troubleshooting Muffled Audio in Leitner Premium Plus Headsets

If you have muffled, distorted, or just bad sound with your Leitner Premium Plus headset, try these steps to get it sounding its best!

Possible Quick Fixes

  • Turn down the volume on your physical desk phone, then turn up the volume on the headset
  • Move the power cord into a different outlet
  • If connected into a PC, try connecting the USB cord directly into the computer instead of the docking station or USB hub

If these don't work, check out the reset below!

Unplugged Reset

  1. Unplug the power from the back of the headset base
  2. Remove the battery from the headset and leave it out for 30-60 seconds
  3. Plug the power back into the base
  4. Put the battery back in (Leitner logo facing the on/off button, arrow going in first) then slide the door back on
  5. Press and hold the Telephone icon on the base until the FocusLight on the base flashes purple, then let go
  6. Press and hold the power button on the headset until it double flashes blue, then let go. The headset should then begin to flash purple continuously

Once this is done, give it a test and see if it works better for you!
