Setup for all Sennheiser Cisco EHS cables

Sennheiser has a whole bunch of EHS cables for Cisco phones, so it can get confusing. Here you will be able to see them all and see which one you may want, if any! Let's figure this out.

Sennheiser Electronic Hookswitch for Cisco 7900 Series Phones

1. Connect green and pink cord into PHONE and ACC port of cube
2. Connect the other end in both the Headset and Aux jack of Cisco phone
3. Set compat on A and move dipswitch #1 down

Phone Settings to Adjust for the 7900 series EHS

1. Press the Settings button on the Cisco phone
2. Scroll to Device Configuration
3. Scroll to Media Configuration
4. Verify that the Headset Hook Switch Control setting displays Enabled
5. If it doesn't say "Enabled", contact your IT Team or phone service provider to get this setting changed. This setting cannot be changed by the end user.

Sennheiser Electronic Hookswitch for Cisco 8900 & 9900 Series Phones

1. Connect green cord into PHONE port in cube
2. Connect the other end in the USB port in Cisco phone
3. Set compat on A and move dipswitch #1 down

Sennheiser Electronic Hookswitch for Cisco SPA Series Phones

1. Connect green and pink cord into PHONE and ACC port of cube
2. Connects into Headset port (2.5mm) of Cisco
3. Set compat on A and move dipswitch #1 down

Sennheiser Electronic Hookswitch for Cisco 8941 and 8945 Phones

1. Connect green and pink cord into PHONE and ACC port of cube
2. Connects to the headsets jack of Cisco
3. Set compat on A and move dipswitch #1 down
