Sennheiser BW900 - The red light under the answer button is red and will not go out. My headset will not respond. What do I do?

BW900 Headset

Unplug the base, remove the battery. Replace the battery, put headset back on base and put back in the power cord.

This seems to be caused by the headset sitting in the base incorrectly overnight.
