Try these steps if you need to pair a new mic to the base or if the headset is having connectivity issues.

Automatic Subscription:

  1. Begin with the headset turned off and out of the charging base
  2. Place the headset in charger. It will automatically subscribe to the base, making it the primary headset
    1. The power light (middle light in front of the base) will flash white during the subscription process and go solid white when the new subscription is established

Manual Over-the-Air Subscription:

  1. Begin with the headset turned off and out of the charging base
  2. Press and hold the subscription button on the base until the power light (middle light in front of the base) begins to flash
  3. Press and hold the volume up button (for the CS540, toggle the volume switch in the volume up position) on the headset for three seconds until the power light goes solid
    1. When the power light on the base becomes solid white, the headset and base are subscribed to one another

If resubscription fails, move the power cord into a different outlet.

NOTE: If the subscription process times out after two minutes or if the subscription process fails, the subscription LED on the base will go dark for three seconds and then re-illuminate steadily to indicate power is applied to the base. If this occurs, try to re-subscribe the headset again.

Stopping Subscription:

If you want to stop the subscription process, press the subscription button again. The power LED on the base will go dark for three seconds and then re-illuminate steadily to indicate power is applied to the base.
