HSL10 (ORL12) Flashing Red

The flashing red light is an error message. It's the lifter's way of telling us something isn't right.

How to fix the flashing red light:

1. Reset the lifter
2. Swap the end of the cord plugged into the lifter so that the end going into the headset base will now go into the lifter, the end in the lifter will now go into the headset base
3. Plug the power cable into a different outlet
4. Try a dipswitch reset
5. Lastly, ensure there is nothing keeping the lifter from rising up, like a small tab on the phone base or a shoulder rest on the phone's handset

Some people have a tendency to manually move (force) the lifter platform up and down. Please do not do this as it can wear the motor down. This could cause the red light to flash and make the lifter malfunction.
