Microsoft Teams Volume Controls

Updated by Kamika Royal on Jul 12, 2024

Did you know that Microsoft Teams has volume controls hidden in the settings? Well, it does!

To get to these you first have to be on an active Teams call, then click on More, then Audio Settings, and then you'll see a volume slider.

While most folks aren't going to need those, they do work with both Sennheiser and Leitner headsets.

A much easier method for controlling the volume on your headset will be to use the volume buttons on the headset for listening volume and the microphone volume on the headset charging base. Or you can use the master volumes in the computer sound settings. Those will also change the volumes of your headset on Teams.

That's it for Teams and Sound Settings! So easy, right?
