Marathon Mic not De-registering? Try this!!

Please note: The AT&T Marathon has been discontinued for a number of years. We are no longer able to get parts for this headset.

Is your Marathon mic not de-registering no matter what you do?

  • First unplug the power and the base jack or tel wall jack cord from the base. The base needs to be totally OFF for this to work.
  • Then press the buttons on the headset in the following sequence (headset is off the base):
  1. vol+
  2. mute
  3. vol-
  4. mute
  5. vol+
  6. vol-
  7. mute

The headset’s ON/OFF button should then flash orange and blue.

You are now de-registered! Party on Wayne!!
