Leitner LH500/600 Series Headsets Troubleshooting

Having an issue with your Premium Plus headset? Here are some steps to get it back up and running.

Leitner Premium Plus LH570 headset and base

No Battery Lights

If there are no battery lights on the left side of the base after putting the headset securely on the base, try a resync.

Resync

  1. Remove the headset from the base and turn the headset off (so there is no FocusLight on the headset).
  2. Set the base to phone mode so that the center right telephone icon is lit up.
  3. Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the headset for about 5 seconds until the FocusLight on the headset flashes blue once, then let go. The FocusLight on the headset will start flashing purple.
  4. Press and hold the telephone mode button on the base for about 5 seconds until it flashes, then let go. The base FocusLight will flash purple.
  5. Set the headset next to the base, not in it. The headset and base will flash purple for a few seconds. Once the resync is complete, the telephone button light will go solid and the FocusLight on the headset and base will turn off.
  6. Place the headset back on the base and the battery lights should turn on. You should see a blue FocusLight on the headset base and no FocusLight on the headset.

If the resync doesn’t work, try a DCA reset.

DCA Reset:

  1. Put the headset in the base. The FocusLight on the base will be blue.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the base for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
  3. You should see the blue FocusLight on the base light up and the battery lights turn on.
