Leitner Headset and EHS30 Set-Up Instructions for ClearlyIP Phones

The ClearlyIP EHS30 Headset Adapter connects ClearlyIP Phones to wireless headsets that have EHS capability.  This enables you to answer calls from headset by turning it on!

EHS30 Ports and LED Lights

1. RJ12 Port for IP Phone EXT/EHS or Expansion Module

4. RJ45 Jack (For Leitner Headsets)

Set Up For Leitner Wireless Headsets

1. Underneath the Leitner headset base, set the compatibility switch to 1 and the RHL/DHSG button to DHSG
2. Unplug the DCA power adapter and the USB cable (if in use)
3. Connect the included RJ45 cable between the Aux Port on the Leitner Headset Base (this is the larger jack with silver around it) and the RJ45 port (Port 4) of the EHS30 Adapter.
4. Connect the included RJ12 cable between the EHS30's RJ12 port (Port 1) and the EXT/EHS port of the ClearlyIP Phone.
5. Connect the included RJ9 cable the telephone port on the Leitner headset base (this is next to the AUX jack and marked with a green sticker) to the headset port of the ClearlyIP Phone. You may also use the RJ9 telephone cord with the green sticker that came with your Leitner headset instead of the RJ9 cord from the EHS30.
6. Connect the DCA power adapter to the headset's power port.
7. Test your headset! You should hear a dial tone when you turn your headset on
