1 AC Power Cord

The 8400 SOTA is not a product you will encounter very often as it is compatible with only on a few older AVAYA/LUCENT telephones: 7403D,7405D.7406D,7406,8403,8405,8410D,8434,8500 ISDN

Keep in mind that those few phones that can use a 8400 SOTA may also use an M22 without difficulty. The only difference is the 8400 SOTA allows On Hook Dialing whereas the M22 does no

It was made to replace even older systems known as the 500AM or 502C. They required a P10 in order to work properly. The 8400 SOTA does not need the P10. Any H-series headset can plug straight in to its Quick Disconnect cord.

Keep in mind that those few phones that can use a 8400 SOTA may also use an M22 without difficulty. The only difference is the 8400 SOTA allows On Hook Dialing whereas the M22 does not.

Installation:

1. Run the included black connector cord from the back of the 8400 SOTA into the oversized “adjunct” jack on the bottom of the phone.

2. Plug AC power in.

Troubleshooting:

No compatibility switch or batteries, so the only troubleshooting is how it’s connected.
