How to set up the Polycom Lifter Adapter Kit

What is it: The Polycom Lifter Adapter Kit (Cat #2188) is an L-shaped bar that creates a bottom cradle to your desk phone to catch the handset. This helps the lifter has an easier time raising and lowering the hand-held receiver. It keeps it from sliding out of place

Lifter Adapter Kit Set-Up

1. Before removing the tape, slide the handset attachment onto the phone and position it so that the handset rests in place as shown below in the 1st image.
2. Once you have determined the right position for the handset attachment peel off the tape and press the lifter adapter into the correct position as shown below in the 2nd image.
3. Place the telephone handset back on the phone. The lifter adapter kit should cradle the phone as shown below in the 3rd image.
4. Adjust the lift level height to the lowest position for the best results. Confirm the position and test that the handset lifter operates properly, then peel off the lifter's tape and press it down firmly to secure it as shown below in the 4th image.
