How to Reset the Yealink WH63 Headset

Yealink WH63 headset acting up? Try these easy steps!

Reset the Yealink WH63 Headset
  1. With the headset in the base, press and hold both the computer mode and phone mode buttons at the same time for about 6 seconds
  2. The headset will say “Factory Reset”
  3. Unplug the power cable from the headset base for about 10 seconds
  4. Reconnect the power cable
  5. Your headset is now reset and ready to test

If you have the Yealink USB Connect software downloaded, you can also do a factory reset through the software. We'd recommend talking to your IT team before downloading any software for your headset.

You can also try re-pairing the Yealink WH63 headset to its charging base. This is helpful if the headset has gone too far out of range and may have gotten disconnected.

Re-Pair the Yealink WH63 Headset To the Base
  1. Remove the headset from the charging base
  2. Press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds until you hear "power off" in the headset.
  3. Press and hold the same button for another 5 seconds until you either hear "power on" or "pairing"
  4. Press and hold the computer mode button on the headset base for 5 seconds until you see a white and green LED flashing
  5. Let the headset sit next to the base (not in it). In about 5 seconds both will pair
  6. Give it a test!
