How to switch between modes on the Leitner LH300/600 series?

For Bluetooth:

• If you're in TEL or computer mode with the headset OFF and you get a call via your Bluetooth device, you'll hear a “doo roo doo roo doo roo” chime in your headset. To pick up the call turn on your headset.When you are done with that call the white light on the base will switch back to whatever mode it was on.
  • You can also pick up the call by clicking the Bluetooth button on the base and then turning on the headset.
• If you're in TEL or computer mode with the headset ON and you get a call via your Bluetooth device, you'll hear a notification in the headset. Click the Bluetooth button on the base to answer.
  • You can also turn off the headset, then click that same button a 2nd time to pick up the call.

For Telephone:

Without EHS or lifter

• Click the TEL button on the headset base. We can do this no matter if the headset is turned on or off.

With EHS or lifter

If you have a lifter or Electronic Hookswitch (EHS), the switching will behave slightly differently.

• If you're in Bluetooth or computer mode with the headset OFF & a call comes through (you’ll hear the chime), you can click the ON/OFF button on the headset and the light on the base will automatically switch over TEL mode picking up the call.
  • You can also press the TEL button on the base and then turn the headset on to pick up the call.
• If you're on Bluetooth or computer mode and the headset is turned ON, click the TEL button on the base to pick up the call, if you are using a lifter.
• If you're on Bluetooth or computer mode and the headset is turned ON, click the TEL button on the base then press the ON/OFF button on the headset again to answer the call.
• If you're currently on a Bluetooth call when you switch over, it will place the Bluetooth call on a silent hold.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have an EHS/Lifter with an older Leitner LH300 series headset and on a call and we get a call on Bluetooth we NEED to place the call on hold on the phone first then hit the Bluetooth button on the base. If we hit the button on the headset it will disconnect the desk phone call! For LH600 series headsets, and new LH300 series headsets, the call will not hang up.

For Computer:

• Click the computer button on the headset base. We can do this no matter if the headset is turned on or off.
