Q: When I have my Chattaway Base set to “RING OFF” and calls come in, then calls are immediately answered without pushing the On/Off button. And sometimes when I set my base to “RING LOW” or “HIGH” then I only get a ½ ring and it answers on its own. Is there any way to fix this?
A: Try switching the FLASH setting on the base to 2 or 3. The FLASH setting may also say 100, 300, 600 instead of 1, 2, 3 and make a test call to the Customer. If this doesn’t fix the issue, then replace it. There was a recent change made to the Chattaway Base’s On/Off button that was meant to make it more durable, but it turns out that it’s affected the base in different ways. KJ is correcting it immediately, but I’ve had success moving the FLASH setting as a temporary fix.
